RCYSL Tournaments
On average, the Rapid City Youth Soccer League participates in three tournaments per season. There are generally one or two out-of-town tournaments and at least one tournament in town. The RCYSL wants to participate in tournaments that are not only challenging and help our teams to grow, but also tournaments that are fun and give the experience that the kids deserve as young soccer players. The RCYSL is also working toward attending at least one out-of-town tournament together as a club so that we can support each other as a soccer community.

Playing Seasons
The Rapid City Youth Soccer League has four playing seasons for its players:
- Fall – The start of the soccer year begins in late August and ends in mid October
- Winter Indoor – Intense, very fast play indoors from November to mid December
- Winter Tournaments – Several indoor tournaments held from December through March
- Spring – Begins in March and ends with the State Tournament in early June
